André Maillé, champion in all categories, Mr. Universe 1986, created his first competition, the André Maillé Natural Classic, in Gatineau, Hull sector, in 2002. From 2002 to 2019, he enabled more than 1,200 athletes to pursue their passion and provided opportunities to travel the world with IFBB INTERNATIONNAL. With the dissolution of the Canadian and American federations in 2020 due to the arrival of COVID-19, he had to start from scratch, with the help of his sons, Dyson and Nolan, to design his brand new competition, the André Maillé Classic, in Ottawa in 2023. Since then, the Maillé family has wholeheartedly dedicated itself to reviving this shared passion across Ontario and Quebec with the new Canadian federation, IFBB CANADA.
